The scene at Becconsall station with "Montalban" at the head of the
train.
This 2ft gauge railway has a really
authentic narrow gauge atmosphere.
"Montalban" has just arrived at "Delph"
station...
... and is in the process of running
around its 3 coach train.
Now just running through the loop
points.
With the drivers permission I was able
to cross the track to capture this view of the train awaiting departure
from Delph.
Arriving back at Becconsall.

I can highly recommend the cafe in the
gazebo at Becconsall station.
We had sandwiches with super lemon
drizzle cake and a pot of tea - very tasty & great value!
Two flagmen protect the crossing as the
loco runs around.
