Havenhouse in 2012 - Chris says, "The station is in excellent order -- buildings on up and down platforms are original GNR

ones in superb order but sensibly locked out of order. Instead, in the last year, the old PW concrete store shed on the

Skeg-bound platform has had its door removed and a bench installed and there's just enough room for two skinny souls

to squeeze in between the cobwebs and the spiders.

Heckington station in 2000 - note the famous 8 sail windmill.

Many signal boxes in Lincolnshire still operate manual crossing gates as here at Heckington 20/8/00.

Another view of the fine 8 sail windmill at Heckington taken from the railway before this section was singled.
Certainly pre 1970 as Heckington signalbox still has a GNR somersault signal in this view.
