Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway
18th September 2013

The 1030 departure from Dalegarth, hauled by diesel locomotive "Douglas Ferreira", seen on a dull morning...

... about to enter Irton Road station on its way to Ravenglass.

After a short while in the passing loop the steam hauled 1030 from Ravenglass comes into view..

..hauled by tank loco "Wroxham Broad" on loan from the Bure Valley Railway in Norfolk.

A quick dash to Ravenglass station allows just time to obtain tickets and get one quick shot of "River Mite" on the 1130 train.

The view as "River Mite" leaves Eskdale Green station.

Dalegarth for Boot station and "River Mite" runs onto the turntable...

... to be turned ready for the return to Ravenglass.

After a very fine lunch at the Boot Inn this is the view of Dalegarth station.

The guard gives the right away signal to the driver of the 1350 departure from Dalegarth.
