Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway The first railway built by volunteers on a greenfield in UK was the LCLR at Humberston near Cleethorpes. This 2ft gauge line closed in 1985 and the railway was moved to Skegness opening on the
Skegness Water Leisure Park on 3rd May 2009- see LCLR website for details.
Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway Historic Vehicles Trust The LCLRHVT was formed in 1981 with the aim of preserving a collection of WW1 trench railway vehicles which it maintains and exhibits at the LCLR in Skegness.
The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway The new website for the standard gauge preservation group based at Ludborough, between Louth and Grimsby.
Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Society Railway preservation society based at the Corus steelworks in Scunthorpe. They offer steam and diesel hauled tours of the extensive steelworks rail network.
North Ings Farm Museum a farm museum near Sleaford in Lincolnshire which operates a 2 ft gauge railway with extensive collection of narrow gauge railway locos and stock.
Friends of the Barton Line Group with the purpose of promoting and seeking improvements to the services and infrastructure on the Barton branch in order to stimulate better use of this valuable community asset.
