Seen from train soon after leaving York, loco is running well on
a fast section of the ECML.

Newcastle station.
Passengers were able to alight at either Durham or Newcastle - diehard
railway enthusiasts stayed on for trip round Morpeth loop.
Remaining passengers detrained at Morpeth station and train reverses
back onto goods loop. Luckily there was a pub nearby!
60009 brings train back into Morpeth station for return trip which
departed at 16.29.
Steam haulage came to an end at York - loco and support coach seen
reversing onto triangle at rear of York station.
