North Lincolnshire has substantial rail freight thanks to Immingham
Docks and the Oil Refineries at Killingholme.
Brocklesby Junction is the place where this traffic joins the Cleethorpes
to Wrawby Junction line. Here 66031 runs light
engine towards Wrawby Junction (& camera) on bi-directional
track through the closed Brocklesby Station - 27/8/99

EWS 66024 on empty Manchester Council landfill train returning from
landfill site at Roxby near Scunthorpe on the remains
of the old North Lindsey Light Railway. Seen on outskirts of Scunthorpe
where train will join Cleethorpes to Doncaster line
requiring loco to run around for return to Manchester area. 24th
July 2007.

Freightliner have since won the contract from EWS to
move the Manchester waste to Roxby.
Because of Loco shortages they have hired 3 Class 66 from DRS, here
66427 is seen running empty back ...
