The exterior of Grimsby Town station on 29th Aug 1970. Not a great deal has changed structurally today, though the occupants
of parts of the station have changed. The parcels office is now a "cycle hub" and the wall on left (where "No Parking" sign is)
has been demolished and the yard is now the stations car park.

Clearly seen beyond signalbox is the disused cattle dock and beyond that Deansgate bridge.

Garden Street junction just to the east of Grimsby Town. The left hand track still goes to Grimsby Docks and Cleethorpes though it is
now a single line  whilst the right hand tracks went to Louth and Peterborough, which closed in 1970 and was lifted in the 80s.

A May 1980 view of the eastern end of Town station. With the ELR now closed the avoiding lines have been lifted.
Platform 3 is still a through line here but is now a terminus platform for Newark trains.
