Ffestiniog Railway - Boston Lodge Works

Boston Lodge Works in Porthmadog is the original workshop of the Ffestiniog Railway.


Double Fairlie "Earl of Merioneth" with dome covers removed for attention.


George England 0-4-0STT "Palmerston" stands outside shed.


The replica single Fairlie "Taleisin" also has brass dome cover removed.


Baguley-Drewry diesel "Criccieth Castle" at back of the works with engineering train rake.


Hunslet 2-4-0ST "Linda" stands in shed

Inside the workshops was Adrian Shooters Dargeeling & Himalayan loco which had featured in the recent WHR gala.
