Eaton Hall Railway - 4th August 2007


Resident locomotive at Eaton Hall is replica Heywood locomotive "Katie"..


.. seen here entering the terminus station after passing through gate in hedge.


The canopied structure on left is the railways original loading dock - the loco shed is on right.


"Ursula" on shed being watered and having coal bunker replenished.


Visiting Heywood replica loco "Ursula" is almost ready to depart the terminus for the park.


"Ursula" passes through the gate from terminus..


.. and takes the left hand chord on the triangle.


The second visiting loco "Effie" (from Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway) passes through gate
and driver exchanges token with signalman.


"Ursula" circumnavigating the cricket ground with her short but interesting train.


Further round the line "Katie" picks up speed on a downhill section.


"Effie" seen in distance with open carriage and brakevan.


"Katie" running bunker first now in the very impressive park.
