0-4-0 Tender/Tank No 312 ‘St. Egwin', constructed by Exmoor
Steam Railway, at Lakeside station.
Having just come off shed, and
driven by owner Tom Brackenbury, the resident 04 6284 waits its
turn in the loop.
"St. Egwin" leaves Lakeside and
passes the O4.
On shed receiving final polishing
of the brasses is another Exmoor built loco 0-6-0 "Sandy" from the private Wotton Light
Railway in Buckinghamshire.
The O4 heads the Discovery Halt shuttle, top & tailed with diesel
"Rachel".
"St. Egwin returns from Kingsway and rounds shed curve.
"Sandy" almost ready to leave the shed.
With drain cocks open the 0-6-0 makes its way to the loop.
"Rachel" brings the shuttle back from Discovery Halt and passes
"Sandy" in the loop. CCLRs DA1 stands on the right.
"St. Egwin" stands in platform 3....
... having been relieved of its train by "Sandy".
"St. Egwins very well laid out cab.
The CCLRs no. 24 is awaiting frame repairs and was on display at
Lakeside.
"Rachel" & "St. Egwin" bring the shuttle into Lakeside alongside
no. 24.
"Sandy" seen with a train of ex-Longleat and Sutton stock from
Kingsway.
