0-4-4-0 Kitson-Meyer locomotive "Hawk" (from Kirklees Light Railway)
arrives on lorry with CCLR resident
"Yvette" which had returned from show at Pickering N.Yorkshire -
3rd May 2007.
"Hawk" is lifted off lorry by 10t on board crane and carefully lowered
onto museum traverser at Lakeside station.
Next "Yvette" is lifted from lorry and will be placed on traverser.
With crane on site the opportunity was taken to turn all steam locos
to face south in anticipation of them shortly
working southwards on the new extension which has a lengthy incline
to new terminus.
Ex BMR loco "Mountaineer" is turned and lowered onto traverser -
next will be its tender.
