Rerailing at Brocklesby Junction
22nd July 2014

The temporary roadway has now been laid across the field to allow crane access. 1100 hrs.

The crane is being assembled at about 1700 hrs, as a Cleethorpes train passes at slow speed.

It`s now about 2230 and the crane is moved into position.

Floodlit scene taken with zoom lens from the station overbridge.

A locomotive has now come down from Ulceby "wrong line" presumably to tow away 66084 when rerailed.
With mist coming in and my camera battery fading I decided to call it a day (or night!) at 2330 hrs.

66084 was rerailed at approx 0400 on 22nd. Trains were running as normal, subject to speed restriction by mid morning
on 23rd July as seen here with a Drax biomass train.
