Fête de la Vapeur 2016.


Sunday morning, 10th April 2016, at St. Valery Canal depot found Henchel & Sohn K8 pacific no. 231.K8 basking in the sun.


At the St Valery end of the running shed the 0-6-0 Pinguely no. 101 noisily blows off steam alongside Corpet-Louvet no. 25.


Corpet-Louvet no. 75 is being coaled at the side of the shed.


1929 built Sprague-Thomson set from the Paris métro stands quietly in the yard.


The visiting locos were used on the normal service trains over the days before the fête. Here Krupp 2-6-2 no. 6001
is seen running around its train at Noyelles-sur Mer station also on Sunday 10th April.



On Tuesday 12th April 2016 SLM 0-6-0 no. 909 reverses out of the runnung shed...


....and goes on to the coaling stage.


It is later the same day seen coming over the Somme bridge at St.Valery with the 11.00 service for Le Crotoy.
