Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme
25nd September 2009

The last day of my weeks holiday - no timetabled trains on the CFBS - but whilst walking on the quayside a whistle was
heard and a special train disgorged its passengers at St.Valery Ville station before the loco ran onto shed at Canal depot.
The loco is seen on pit in front of shed after servicing.

Loco no 2 (originally commisioned for building of Panama Canal) then ran back across the dual gauge mainline to take the left hand road...

..for stabling overnight with the following morning trains stock in the yard.

Inside the shed was No E332, seen earlier in week on the mixed train to Cayeux sur Mer.

Haine-Saint-Pierre of 1922 vintage no 15 awaiting restoration.

 0-4-0 Corpet Louvet no 25, built 1927.

Workhorse no 3714 sits on the inside inspection pit.

A coach receiving new panelling in the well equipped workshop.

Standard gauge diesel works train in the yard.

Je tiens à remercier le personnel à Saint-Valery Canal Depot pour l'autorisation de prendre ces photos sur le site. Merci beaucoup!
